Children will play games, learn about character development, lights, costumes and more.  Kindergarteners that participate will receive a small part in the production.  They do not have to audition.   1st & 2nd graders must register and audition for the production.

Children will learn about character development and creating a play.  They will learn improvisation games, dabble in songs and music and learn to warm up to help with their performances.  All are welcome, but this workshop is recommended for children who plan to audition for the Youth Theatre Production of Law & Order:  Fairy Tale Unit.

Summer Youth Theatre Production - "Law and Order: Fairy Tale Unit"

In the fairy tale criminal justice system, the characters or fairy tales and nursery rhymes are represented by 2 separate yet equally ridiculous groups.  These are their stories.  
Everyone who auditions will be cast.  Rehearsals will be held on Tuesday & Thursday afternoons depending on the part.  
Auditions:  Monday, June 5 from12-2:30PM
Mandatory Parent Meeting:  Monday, June 5 at 2:30PM
Rehearsals:  Tuesdays & Thursdays between noon-4PM

Great fun & learning for students.  Participants will use SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING & MATH to complete projects that get them thinking, working together, and having fun.  The class will include experimenting, creating, designing and problem solving.

This program teaches youth life and safety skills for when they are home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting.  The program covers 1st aid, indoor and outdoor safety, and how to handle emergencies.
