This program teaches youth life and safety skills for when they are home alone, watching younger siblings or babysitting.  The program covers first aid, indoor & outdoor safety & how to handle household emergencies.  Space is limited.

Fun with Theatre  Register>>  Print Form>>
Children will play theatre games, dabble in songs and music, and learn about the world of mime and masks as well as some theatre basics such as character development, lights, costumes, and makeup.  Kindergartners that participate will receive a small part in the Youth Theatre Production:  Peter Pan if they so choose.  1st & 2nd graders must register for the production and audition.

Advanced Theatre Basics  Register>>  Print Form>>
Children will learn about character development and creating a play.  They will learn theatre and improvisation games, dabble in songs & music, theatre dance moves, choreographed sword play, as well as warm-ups to help with their performance.  The children will use these skills to better their audition.  All are welcome, but this workshop is STRONGLY recommnended for children who plan to audition for the Youth Theatre Production: Peter Pan.

Youth Summer Theatre Production:  Peter Pan  Register-Single>>  Register-Family>>

J.M. Barrie's wonderful story of pirates, mermaids and family-PETER PAN- will delight all who participate.  A segmented, junior theater version of Peter Pan will be performed.  Everyone who audtions will be cast!  Rehearsals will be every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday with various times between noon & 4PM.  Rehearsals will culminate with 2 performances.  Rehearsal attendance will depend on your child's role.  Set building will commence on a few scheduled mornings.
Auditions:  Monday, June 4
Time:  Noon-2:30PM (Required parent meeting following audtions)

Performances:  Friday, June 29 at 6PM & Saturday, June 30 at 11AM
Fee:  $30/$36 per child or $50/$60 per household (district/non-district)

Great fun and learning for students.  Participants will use SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING & MATH to complete projects that get them thinking, working together and having fun.  The class will include experimenting, creating, designing, and problem solving.

Explore different mediums while working on a variety of art projects with local artist Amy Lawson.  Students will use paints, oil pastels, markers, pencils and more!  Space is limited.
