Scarecrow Contest  Register>>
Get in the fall spirit and get your creative juices flowing. Each entry will be assigned a 6'x6' square along the trail at Chieftain Spark to display your scarecrow. Props like chairs, hay bales, pumpkins, stakes, etc... may be used. Scarecrows will be on display from Saturday, Oct. 23-Sunday, Nov. 1. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of our 3 categories (traditional, characters and business/organizations). Register today and begin planning your scarecrow.  Winners will be announced on Friday, October 30th.

The Museum at Tonganoxie
Explore local history in the Fairchild-Knox Dairy Barns - a hay barn and attached milking parlor built in 1932.  Learn about the main economic drivers of the town of Tonganoxie, platted in 1866.  The museum site includes Honey Valley School, a one room schoolhouse, the Reno Methodist Church, a 1918 structure, and a fully restored 1936 fire pumper truck.
Spend some time with us this summer.  Admission is free.
