We are excited to bring back the Summer Theatre Program for 2024!

This is the registration for the 4-day workshop before auditions. During this workshop, kiddos will learn acting techniques and practices that will benefit their acting skills. They will learn information about the performance this summer and plan for their audition.

Enhance your skills with instruction from KCKCC coaches and athletes. 

When: Monday - Wednesday, June 10th-12th

Time: 9am-11am

Where: TRC Field #2

Fee: $50 (cash or checks only. Checks made out to MSBL Royals)

This is the registration for the Summer Theater Auditions, Rehearsals, and Performances. Once your child has auditioned for the program, the instructor will assign parts and rehearsals will begin.

Tonganoxie Recreation and Tammy Bartels are bringing self-defense to the Recreation Center. Pepper Spray 101 is a course in how to respond to uncomfortable approaches, the safety and use of pepper spray, and the legalities of pepper spray if used. Tammy Bartels has been teaching self-defense and pepper spray for 4 years and has a passion for bringing safety techniques to the community. Join us in learning how to protect ourselves and stay safe.

$25 Fee: Attend the class only.

$40 Fee: Attend the class and take home your own pepper spray.

Students will learn how to get started, chain stitch, single crochet, and learn about different kinds of yarns and hooks. They will also learn how to end a project.

All materials provided.

This 6-1/2 hour course covers safety skills, child care skills, life and business skills; as well as CPR instruction and manikin practice. Space is limited to the first 6 participants to register.
The class will be held at TRC's Activity Center (300 E. US 24/40) in the Activity Room.

This is a free golf clinic for children ages 9-14 that will help introduce them to the game and enhance their skills. Receive free instruction from the staff at the Sunflower Hills Golf Course. Clubs will be provided if you do not have your own. 

Time: 8:00am - 8:45am

Mondays, July 8th - August 5th

*Limited to 20 participants*

Come to the Recreation Activity center for All Ages Bingo! 10 rounds of bingo, prizes for each round, and snacks & drinks provided.

Friday July 19 | 4:30 - 7 PM | $3 per player

Children 14 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult.

This is a internet-assisted course. Participants must have access to a computer and be able to finish an online course prior to the field day.
