The Chieftain Park project was completed in 2003 and stands as a testament to the dedicated and forward thinking Commission members, staff and supporters. Chieftain Park is a beautiful green space located at 235 N. Main St. across from the Tonganoxie High School, off of HWY 24-40. Please stop by and check out our park!
Reservations can be made for the shelter house at Chieftain. There is no charge to reserve the shelter. You can check the availability of the shelter on the CALENDAR on this site. You may also reserve the facility online. Create an account or log in to your dashboard at www.tongierec.org and select Facility Reservation button. Print a copy of your receipt and have it with you during your reservation.
